Fulcrum Family Services can provide consultancy support with particular specialisms in the area of creating and writing local specific guidance and policy documents that are informed by the latest research.

This can come in the form of critically analysing current policy by: 

1. Identifying the purpose of the policy document

2. Confirming the need to have written policies and procedures in respect to the topic at hand 

3. Reviewing the policy statement and ensuring it reflects the company image and goals

4. Analysing the procedures for the policies for the client's business for effectiveness and efficiency 

5. Comparing the policy with others within the same field

6. Identifying areas for review

7. Exploring the language used within the document to determine if it successfully communicates its content.

Fulcrum Family Services can also review and evaluate current practice, or conduct service-user research to inform policy and practice.
